Question When HD|Native will support Cubase?

Hi,

THIS Writen in Avid website as part of HD|Native Features

Open up your workflow
Use the included Pro Tools HD software and you’ll maximize your productivity, efficiency, and creative potential, as well as gain unparalleled performance and control of Avid audio and video interfaces, consoles, control surfaces, and live sound systems. But you can also use your Pro Tools|HD Native hardware with other Core Audio- and ASIO-compatible DAW software such as Logic, Nuendo, Live, Cubase, Reason, and Fruity Loops—with support for 64 channels of I/O—opening up even more creative avenues.

Can someone tell me when HD|Native will Support Cubase ?

Thanks

Perhaps when Avid release a 64-bit ASIO driver for Native card.

Its shame that big company like AVID write something and you find it wrong!!!
Can someone from AVID tell me why AVID have this statement while it’s not correct!
And when this will be happen (expected time for Cubase support)

Correct me if I'm wrong but there is support for Avid ASIO 32-bit.

installed cubase 6 32bit and the HDOmni|Native work but the issue that each if I open Cubase 6 and use HD-native with it ,then when open PT9 -HD then the PT9-HD can't find the driver and just shows the generic low latency driver etc.... and if I select other driver then PT crash!

How I can force PT9-HD to see the Native again!

I think the Driver Still need enhancment

sorry for the pad grammar
Here is the story:
1- Installed Cubase 6 32bit
2- Used the HD Native / Omni with Cubase 6 32bit successfully however I feel that it’s not 100% stable
3- Open PT9 HD and can’t find HD Native Driver and it’s showing generic low latency driver (I am not sure how I can remove this driver)
4- After restart didn’t find still the same issue (#3 - can’t find HD Native Driver) and if I select another driver it give me error and PT crash

How I can get around this bug (#4) ?

I feel that the driver still not stable 100% and I think there is some conflict between PT & Cubase

Are you trying to use Two daws at the same time? IF so that might be the reason why. I've read other thread on this forum that if there's an other program that is using the device PT might not see it. Not sure if this is what's happening with you, but if you are trying to run both daws at the same time, close cubase and see if it's persists.

I have not seen that returning from an ASIO playback engine to Pro Tools. Is Cubase the only application you experience that issue? Have you tried running a dummy test with Reaper 32 and Digidesign ASIO Driver?
