Default Using ProTools HD Native with Cubase 5 (x64)

Hello,

I bought ProTool HD Native package that I want to use with Cubase 5 x64.
I installed Pro Tools software (latest version 9.03). I can see driver in device manager and I can use it in Pro tools software.
But I can't use it with Cubase 5, somehow Cubase can't recognize the HD native hardware.
I have also another DSP card which can be seen on both software's...
Please explain to me how to use ProTools HD Native hardware with Cubase.

My PC configuration:
Win7 SP1 x64, i7, 8 GB DDR3

Product description:

Use the included Pro Tools HD software and you’ll maximize your productivity, efficiency, and creative potential, as well as gain unparalleled performance and control of Avid audio and video interfaces, consoles, control surfaces, and live sound systems. But you can also use your Pro Tools|HD Native hardware with other Core Audio- and ASIO-compatible DAW software such as Logic, Nuendo, Live, Cubase, Reason, and Fruity Loops—with support for 64 channels of I/O—opening up even more creative avenues.

My bad on my end. My ASIO4ALL routes into my other I/O, which is then going to the HD Omni via optical and synced using BNC. A complete oversight on my part. Apologies for the incorrect info I gave you.

If you have optical out on your mother board, you can route the signal into the Omni. Set the Omni's mixer to always pass through to your monitors.

Ok. If I understand you properly I can't use PCI express PT HD|Native card with Cubase then or is there any way?

Unfortunately, there is no multi-client driver yet. I myself route the audio out from the computer, via the digital optical port, then go into the HD OMNI. You could also do this approach using a separate I/O box. Prior to that set up, I had my 003(now gone), via Optical port, going into the OMNI. Programs such as Reason and REAPER etc got sent to the 003 first using ASIO4ALL. For now we'll have to use those work arounds. Does your mother board have a digital output that you know of?
