Maybe it's a setting with the mix knob, or have you enabled SPDIF with the microphone? Just my initial thoughts on this one.

PS. Glad that it's all working for you now!

Well, good point if you're not using a mic with an XLR cord with Phantom Power, then you wouldn't need to worry about plugging into SPDIF. (To my understanding, with mbox 1).

As for the mixer, it makes WHAT get louder and quieter? Is it turning down the distortion, or did you mean it turns down everything?

It turns everything down like volume, amd my mic is a RODE k2 that goes into the XLR Input on the back of the MBOX 2,so whats with the need for SPDIF? and how would i turn it on if i needed it?

Is it possible that maybe somethings loose on the inside, and that the Pre, and Post sounds are getting mixed, cuz the distortion is more of a phasing sound that sounds almost as if im being looped back RLY QUICKLY after i sing?

[EDIT]

Ok if i keep the knob to the left the distortion is MINMAL, but i can only hear audio out of the left side for my headphones then.
