Great News!

I just ordered and shipping will begin March 10th. I'm more excited to get this MDD more quite then I am for PT6 on the 002 !

Order early, they say it going to be a limited supply when they start shipping.

i'm a little unclear on this. does the newest line of G4s already come equipped with the quieter components????? i ordered the dual 1.25GHz G4 a week ago and want to know if i should consider the power supply swap or if i already have the components.

I have a QS G4 1ghz DP that is not exactly quiet . Has anyone compared them side by side with the MDD's. Are MDD's significantly louder? (I'm very aware of the issue with MDD's but never been close to one other than in a noisy store).

Great news!

Bravo Apple, imagine Dell doing this?

I could probably live with the noise in OSX, but now that I can get a quiter fan, OS9 will be a dream.
I will now be sticking with my dual gig MDD and OS9.2.2 until all the plugs I use are released for OSX.
If it works, why change it?

H
