red neck honkey needs help

Ok so it's been a couple of months and I forgot! I can't figure out how to export audio through my optical out on the sound card that comes with the 001. I went and set the playback engine to optical but I'm still not getting any output from my master when I send music to it to go through the 9-10 output channels. AnyideaZ? THanks in advance!
