Default Using Izotope Iris as Vocoder

Hello,

I'm looking for a vocoder, I already own Iris but have never thought about using it as a vocoder.

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a line input to use as a control for the samples?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

T.

I have no idea but you might want to try the Virtual Instruments forum. Personally, I use A.I.R. Instruments Loom as a vocoder. Works great.

You might also look at Waves Morphoder.

Not that I'm aware of but I'm no expert on Iris. Cool plugin, btw.

For vocoders I've tried many and for some reason seem to end up back with Indigo, an oldie but a goodie. (TDM-only, unfortunately)

I want what Daft Punk uses. Which, as far as I know, isn't a software plugin.

Then get a Korg MS2000 or a MicroKorg and you will have what Daftpunk has

Although it's been a while since I used it, this: http://www.xils-lab.com/pages/XILS-V%252b_Features.html worked great for me.
