7.4.2pr Install Error
I looked around and didn't see that anyone else had this problem but if its already been discussed please post a link.
When installing 7.4.2pr on OS 10.5.3 on my 8- core I received an install error when the digirack plugins were in the process. It said: "The Installer could not install some files in "/". Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." Pro Tools seems to run fine. Digi Core Audio didn't install but I installed coreaudio only afterwards and it seems fine. |

Re: 7.4.2pr Install Error
First, do a clean uninstall of Pro Tools.
Then, restart and run the installer again - this time open the tab for Pro Tools and uncheck the DigiRack plug-ins and everything else other than Pro Tools during installation. The installer should complete successfully. Restart and, once again, run the installer but this time check everything else that normally was check, but not Pro Tools. For some reason on certain systems installing component by component works, but installing everything at once won't. |
