power hardness?

ok i have a 002 rack, i bought it off ebay. ive had it for a while and now its just sudenly doing some weird things. sometimes when i turn it on i just doesnt make those little clicks as it boots up, and then my computer cant recognize that my rack is connected. and sometmes it connects fine, and after a few minutes of use it just suddenly pops up with "please reconnect 002r" or some crap, and no matter what i do i cant get it to play or recognize its there agian.

is this a power hardness problem? sounds liek it..

how would i fix it? i read some people just bow out the harness and it works agian, or jiggle it around... should i do that?

mine went down today. i took the top off cleaned all the connections from the power outlet in with some de oxit contact cleaner and it is up and going again. my unit is 3 years old the end of this month, so am kinda surprised it didnt happen before, but am not 100% sure it is taken care of yet either. hope that helps.
