Weird automation behaviour
Hi everybody,
While listening to a mix, I realized that some throw delay coming in from aux track was missing. 1. I check everything and find that the send level automation on the vocal track that is feeding the respective bus is not working (auto read, of course), i.e. even when the send level is way above -inf, nothing is passed into the input (bus) of the aux track. 2. I restart PT and nothing. I restart the computer reload the session and nothing. 3. Then I disable the automation (auto off) on the sender audio track and manually change the send fader and ... the aux track is fed by the respective signal and delay is obviously working. 4. I set automation back to auto read and everything works fine. Needless to say, this is quite worrying as its kinda hard to envision going through all the send-to-bus instances in the mix before you do do the final mix down of the song to send it to mastering. Does anybody have an idea about what goes on here? Cheers. Aljoša PT 12.7, iMac, Intel Core i5, 3.2 GHz, 32 GB RAM |
