Pro Tools will not record my piano?
when I go to record something, I make a instrument track, pull up a piano thats already included in protools, then I enable the track, next I press record and play and record, but protools will not pick up any signal from the piano or any of my other instrument plugins, any Ideas?

Re: Pro Tools will not record my piano?
Hi, hard to tell from your description but sounds like you dont have things routed correctly. Can you post a photo of your mixer with the routings and how you're trying to record?
Chris

Re: Pro Tools will not record my piano?
Do you have the latest drivers installed for your controller?
Have you setup your controller in Setup>Peripherals>Midi Controllers? Is the instrument channel input set to 'All'?

Re: Pro Tools will not record my piano?
Yes I did, Better yet the main problem im having right now is everytime I use a midi instrument or the piano that programmed in Protools, there seems to be crackling sound that plays along with my keyboard, it kinda sounds distorted, any ideas?

Re: Pro Tools will not record my piano?
If your controller is connected vis USB, try another usb cable.
As Regen said, it would be helpful to post a link to a photo so we can see how you've set it up.
