Problem using "Video Satellite LE" and PT HD10

Hello,

I've been using one PT HDX|3 system (PT HD 10.3.8) to playback audio and a separate PT 10.3.8 as Satellite (using Video Satellite LE licence) for playing back video (thru a Blackmagic Decklink HD Extreme 3D).

But we upgraded our second system to a PT HDX|1 system (and the software, of course, to PT HD 10.3.8) and now Satellite is not working!

When I go to Setup > Peripherals > Satellites, the "Satellite" mode is greyed out (only the Administrator mode is active).

Is "Video Satellite LE" uncompatible with Pro Tools HD systems (Avid website doesn't says so)? Can anyone help, please?

Oi Ariel: are the systems in the same subnet, using the same ports, have you installed the Video Satellite LE software option?

Yes, the systems are in the same subnet, router, same ports, etc.

I've installed the Video Satellite LE option, and made sure that we have an active license on our iLok. But, still, the Satellite mode is greyed out.

Any idea?

The only time I saw this was a version missmatch.

Have you contacted CIS, the Avid reseller in Brasil?

Did you solve the problem? If yes, how?
Cause I see the same symptoms. It runs under PT11 on both systems.But on PT10 the option is greyed out on the slave system.

Video satellite le license is only compatible with non hd interfaces. You need a different license to satellite a hdx card. It's the satellite license. Sorry man, you gotta buy more stuff to get this to work. For the time being, you can go back to a non hdx playback engine and satellite that rig. Your other option is to upgrade both systems to pt 11 where all satelliting options are included. Good luck.

I have in the master system 10HD with HD native. In the slave system I have mac mini with 10 vanilla. I have iLok with Satellite link authorisation on the slave system. I checked with ILM that the iLok is OK. but still the option is greyed out. What else?
