Default Firmware update available for MBox 2?

I got a kernel crash when using MBox 2, firmware 1.38, ProTools 8.0.3 on a MacBook Pro, 10.6.3. Is there later firmware available, and where do I get it?

Using Mbox 2 (1.38) on 10.6.2 on Macbook, PT 8.0.3 and all is fine.

As far as I know there is no later update that is recommended to use. I think there IS a later one but it addresses a specific problem (that is not your problem) and Digi say not to use it otherwise. You'll find all firmware updates on the Digi site.

Thanks JazzyJ-- Sorry, I found that info just after posting my question. Still, the kernel crashes…

A lot of people get kernel panics when they hot plug (i.e. unplug while computer is running) an Mbox. Make sure you're only plugging or unplugging the interface when the computer is shut down.

(My experience is that you usually encounter a kernel panic not directly after you have hotplugged a Mbox2, but later when you shut down or restart the computer.)

If this is your issue, then the recent PT LE 8.0.3cs2 update is said to include a fix for this.
But Mac OS X 10.6.3 is not yet supported.
