Default Projectmix I/O

I am having an issue with the projectmix I/O, the first channel is picking up a signal without anything being connected to it. If I press the mute button the signal still is there but there is not an audible sound associated with it. There also is a buzzing noise which occurs every 10-15 seconds. If anyone has any advice you could send my way that would be great. I have tried different cables, different mics and different ports. The first of the eight ports does not work and the buzzing still occurs no matter what combination you do. The first channels noise is eliminated when you press the mute button. However, the buzzing noise is still there. Any advice would be great.

Default Re: Projectmix I/O

I had the same problem with channel 2 of my Projectmix. Had to send it back to M-Audio who told me that they had to replace the main audio board.
