PT 7.4.2 and ProFire Lightbridge?
my setup:
MacBook 2.16, 2GB Ram, OSX 10.5.3 PT M-Powered 7.4.2 Profire Lightbridge 1.8.3-6 BETA When I put the tracks in record I get a "ta,ta,ta,ta" noise. Does this setup work at all? Detlef. |

Hey Detlef,
I'm using the 1.8.2 driver, 1.8.3 has never worked for me so far. I'm on Mac OS 10.5.4 on a MacPro and I also have a MacBook Pro. Keep in mind, however, that if you have the ProfireLB connected to the Firewire400 port on the MacBook Pro, you can't have an additional harddrive connecte to either the FW800 nor the FW400 port. The Profire wants to live on the entire firewire bus of your Mac totally ALONE. Then it should work fine. Hope this helps, Tobias |
