Default opening session crashing Pro Tools

Hello! I have a session that I have 3 different versions saved. On the latest version v3, Pro Tools crashes before it even opens the session. I can open v1 alright which was pretty much the tracking session. But, v2 and v3, which are mixing sessions crash Pro Tools.

These sessions open fine on my laptop, which is actually where I tracked and mixed this, but v2 and v3 won't open on my Mac Pro.

I'm on Pro Tools 2020.12. Could this be a plugin issue? What would be the best route to figure this out?

Thanks!

Mike.

How about some system info on the two systems?
Do both computers have the same plugins?
Same PT version on both computers?
How are you moving the sessions between computers?

Your profile info is woefully out-of-date.

Try opening the session with plugins disabled.
I think it's shift on mac.

Shoot! Just updated specs. Sorry about that!

So, both computers have a different OS and different Pro Tools versions; MacBook Pro which it works on is OS 10.12.6 with PT 12.5.2, and the system that the session doesn't work on is a Mac Pro with OS 10.15.7 and Pro Tools 2020.12.0.

Wow, so that was FAST! It opened right up when disabling plugins! haha

SO, I think the culprit would be my Metric A/B Plugin by Plugin Alliance. I think because it has songs saved in the question that are in different locations on my laptop as opposed to my Mac Pro, I'm thinking that could be the culprit. How would I go about testing this, or any other plugins for that matter? How do you remove them from the folder without deleting them and checking for the culprit?

I don't understand your response. What's in different locations - the plugins or what? If it's the plugins they should always be in the standard location of Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plugins in any variation of OSX. To remove a plugin you just move it over the Plug-ins (unused) folder that's right next to the aforementioned Plugins folder. Do this with PT not running then restart PT.

Shoot, I’m sorry once again! I wasn’t very clear haha the files that are in different locations are my reference tracks that Metric A/B was using, BUT, it turns out that wasn’t the culprit. It was a plugin called Recabinet 5 by Kazrog. He got back to me though and it was a permissions issue that got settled. I appreciate your help and sorry for the confusion!
