Default Clicks/ticks/pops from M-powered 7.1.1 on external HDD

Hi all,

PT 7.1.1 is not supported on Leopard systems. So I've created an external FW800 drive with Tiger (10.4.10) on it to run PT M-powered 7.1.1. It runs pretty good... Unfortunately, it makes pop/click/tick sounds during playback.

I know 7.1.1 is officially not compatible with 10.4.10, but I only have an install disk with 10.4.10 on it. Would that be the problem? Or is is simply because I run PT from an external HDD?

Thanks,
Gert
