Re: Mbox 3 Mini drivers for El Capitan? (Interface not recognized)
After a few days using this, the driver is really unstable. Audio will just stop entirely and require a reboot. Mbox Mini control panel still won't open properly and says "Driver Interface Process was not found."

- Delete files from above - Reboot - Install 1.3.1 - Reboot - Shut Down - Connect Mbox Mini - Boot Up - Check Mbox Mini Control Panel I've done the installation with the device disconnected and connected just to be thorough.. same result. The device DOES show up in Sound in System Prefs. |

Re: Mbox 3 Mini drivers for El Capitan? (Interface not recognized)
I had similar issue. In my case I was missing some files that needed to be deleted from the old driver, which I hadn't found. They were hanging there so the uninstallation wasn't complete.
Once I deleted all files related to old driver, I installed the new driver (doing the process exactly as you describe doing it, with the unit disconnected, etc) and now everything's fine. I'm sure your problem has to do with your PT not being version 12.4...If I were you I'd solve that first and I'm sure that'll sort it out. Good luck! |

This has turned into a total ****show for me. Avid updated my account to install 12.4 but for some reason took down the 12.2 install file. So, I uninstall it to the best of my ability using AppCleaner and sorting through all the usual folders myself. I Install 12.3 and the installation says it's successful but when I try to open Pro Tool it prompts me saying that Pro Tools is trying to install a Helper program. I type in my password but the window pops back up and Pro Tools crashes. SHEESH! At least before it kinda worked. Also, there's no Uninstalls included with theses Install files? EDIT: After deleting some shoe files I saw from another thread, Pro Tools opened for me after prompting me to install helper. It didn't install anything but it does at least run now. Mbox mini still not installing properly. Last edited by ShredSavage; 01-26-2016 at 01:08 PM. |
