Pro Tools LE And PreSonus DigiMAX help!!!!!!!!!!!

I am new to pro tools and i recently got PTLE and a Presonus DigiMax. I have got it to work before. But i think i messed something up when i was messing around with the sample rate settings. When i open a session it will only let me use 2 tracks of the DIgimax. I know if you want to run 88.2k or 96k you can only use 2 tracks, but 44.1k is slected on the digimax. So im unsure of what it could be. If anyone can help that would be great. I need all 8 pres working not just 2. Thanks!!

Ok well is the session itself set to the same sample rate as the digi max? Both the session and the hardware have to be set to the same sample rate. Also if it pops and click go to your hardware setup and change the clock setting to ADAT.

Thanks alot for the help with the clicking. But about getting all the 8 pres working, it still only has 2 channals working in pro tools from the digi max. What else could it be?

Sounds like you accidentally selected SPDIF to Optical. Change it to SPDIF to RCA. SPDIF is a 2 channel digital signal while ADAT is an 8 channel protocol(that's why you are only getting 2 channels). Sync the 002 to ADAT and check that your Digimax and your session are at the same sample rate and bit depth.
