Default Can the active peripheral color be changed?

I am using my M-Audio Axiom Pro with PT8 and I wondered if the highlight color used to indicate which tracks are being controlled can be changed. It looks like it is a color swatch and we should be able to click on it it to change it but nothing is happening when I do. Should this work or is it fixed on the 4 retina burning colors in the boxes?

If it's not a feature it should be. Nothing more annoying that a lovely GUI like PT8 being vandalized by a garish line round everything.
