is it possable to sidechine in le

hi guys i was just trying to find out if it is possible to do sidechine compression in pro tools 8 le ? if so how can i do this iv been told that i cant with the stranded compressor if i cant were can i fine a compressor that will or dose LE not have the capability .

If I'm not mistaken, the (free) BF76 has a sidechain input. Sometimes they call it a "key" input.

Only if you have a stranded compressor. Solid ones won't sidechine.

Seriously folks, a quick read of your typing will help clear up lots of confusion. Side-chaining works fine in LE as long as the plugin allows it.(and yes, I need to re-type about every 5th word myself. Its either the old crappy keyboard, or the old worn out hands)
