Hello everyone! This is my first post

I need help with my new synth, korg volca bass.. I'd like to play it using a pre-recorded midi track but it doesn't work.
I connect the MIDI out to the MIDI in of the synth and I assign the right channel to the out of the MIDI track.. click play, but the synth doesn't make any sound.
I don't think is a problem of the synth because he plays if I use a MIDI controller without using the computer.
Where is my mistaske?

I'm working in OSX and I have Pro Tools Express

Did you make an instrument in the midi studio setup and used that instrument on the instrument track, replacing the all in the midi input to the instrument you've created in the midi studio setup?
