Default New Dither in 5.3.1???

I read in the Mac forum that there is a long awaited new Dither in PT 5.3.1, is that one also included in the PTLE? If so - thus it sound any better or is it just faster?

Has anyone done an A/B with an old session just to try it out?

i'm told by a few mastering engineers that it is now their 'dither of choice'. i have to believe them at this point as i've not been in a critical enough environment to put it to the test.
