MBox Micro
Hi everybody,
I have this MBox Micro that I def love, but I need to record some kind of insparations or demos before going in the studio and get everything alright, but like we all know, my Micro doesn't have any audio input so now, I don't want to go and just sell it, is there any other solution for me to save some money without selling my gear, and get just a cheap daw without get to the higher price of the mbox family, I already have a mic but nowhere to plug it in, thanks in advance. |

Re: MBox Micro
You could use REAPER to track with your on board sound card... Then import it to PT to mix edit and other stuff. It has a free trial that is for 30 days and to buy it is only $60...

Re: MBox Micro
There are several excellent DAW options that are free or inexpensive that should allow you to use your soundcard input for recording. Then just transfer the wav files to Pro Tools. The most popular and feature rich is Reaper by Cockos. After that, you could also try Audacity or Krystal Audio Engine. (It might be Chrystal Audio Engine) There are others too.

Re: MBox Micro
Propellerhead/Reason has a cool free DAW with SSL-EQ called Record. Or if you don't have Ver 8 yet, you could buy a 'Mini' and use the new version with either interface!

Re: MBox Micro
Hi
Finally I just brought myself that Fast Track to be able to record then work my vocals cessions with protools le 8 back with my mbox micro. But when I tried to install protools essential to be able to make a first cession It asked me to unistall protools le 8. So, is there anyway for me to keep protools le and be able to use protools le 8 to compose, and essential to record my own vocal work sessions? Thanks in advance if anybody can help |
