Delay/Pitch/Octave effect
Hi,
I was listening to a commercial CD the other day and I noticed that one of the delay effects is actually the lead vocal pitched an octave higher. I'd like to replicate this and I've used various methods of pitch changing but rather than a pitch shift, on the CD it actually sounds like a "harmonic" of the original (not sure if that's the best way to describe it). It sounds much more natural than a standard pitch/formant change so if someone can let me know how this is achieved, I'd appreciate it greatly. (As with my previous post, it's in the second half of the verse in Cher's "Different Kind Of Love Song", although I had to play around with the phasing to be able to hear it more clearly) Thanks
