Score Editor Cut and Paste.
Hello,
I am using Pro Tools 8.0.4 on an Imac Core Duo. I would like to know how to copy and paste midi in score editor so that it is in sync with the rest of my tracks. I was working on a song. It had 5 tracks. I wanted to redo my drum beat. I did for verse 1. I copied and pasted it to verse 2, but it wasn't in sync. I really took care in lining the beats up. It worked in a different recording, but not this one. My guess is that I wasn't in the same mode for both of them. What are the sure fire steps to do this? In addition, does it matter if their is a rest on the first beat? It seemed the starting point was the first quarter note (played), but not the first beat which was a rest Thanks in advance. |

Re: Score Editor Cut and Paste.
Hi Everyone,
In case people are browsing through this board or may need to resolve this themselves I'm pretty sure I found what my issue was. The melody started on the 2nd beat as opposed to the first beat where I initially thought it did. It was a Finale import. I didn't create this melody, so that's why I didn't know. Thanks, Frank |
