Default System Drive and Audio Drive Question.

I have a separate internal audio drive (ST3500320AS (500.1GB, SATA150, 3.5", 7200rpm) I use for data. The cache is 32mb for my audio drive.

My system (C) drive WDC WD3200AAJS-00VWA0 (320GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm is only only 8mb cache. Does this effect anything negatively in pro tools? Since the only written data is going to the Audio Drive is it ok to have a system drive with the cache this low?

Thanks

Default Re: System Drive and Audio Drive Question.

The c: drive is unlikely to cause you issues unless you are streaming a lot of VI data from it.
