Ah, so the utility should work with pro tools 9 on windows 7 then?

I'm on Pro tolls 9.0.5. but I'm beginning to have serious doubts as to my computer's wellbeing . A couple of apps now refuse to work even after reinstalling them over and again, appcrash here and an appcrash there, here a crash, there a crash, everywhere just crash crash . So perhaps the ordinary utility not working was only a first symptom, and trashing preferences may well be the least of my worries now. Errors too intermittent to bring back to the seller, but bad enough to ruin many a day, and I'm quite out of my depth with this. Anyway: that sad story is prob'ly best kept to another thread (my appcrash thread).

i would start with reinstalling windows and going from there.
