Default EZDrummer - very basic question

I am new to PT, and I run 7.0 on a G4 Powermac, MBox 2. Until now, all my tracks are acoustic recordings, and all works fine.

I bought EZDrummer for my first fake instrument try. I installed it and registered. Now the drums do not show up as an instrument on an insert. Do I need to reinstall? Am I a fool? As an old folkie, I'm tempted to just go back to my Gibson, and forget about these new-fangled drumz. Any help would be appreciated.

The first few prints of EZdrummer did not include all formats. RTAS, required for ProTools users, is available as a download from the support page http://www.ezdrummer.com/support/. Creation of a customer account is all that is required to access the update.

If you have the latest version installed, please make sure you are trying to instantiate EZdrummer on a stereo track (an Instrument track is recommended). On choosing the ProTools 'New Track' command ensure that you change the default track settings from Mono to Stereo. EZdrummer will not appear as an insert on a Mono track.

Have you checked their site for the latest update? Not to offend, but are you doing this on a STEREO instrument track?

Thanks, all. "Stereo" track. I was ready to get a new computer.
