ProTools 2023.6 Available

All good on 2 systems so far, one is a cheesegrater on Catalina with a C/24. Only issue is VIELKLANG 2 crashes on previous sessions. Just went to Zplanes website and no update yet

been working just great here so far. but I'm not trying to use all the new **** yet!

maybe a one off but bounced a bit of work, went out to play a gig and came home 1am, left the machine on... try to close pro tools... and it freezes again on exit, same place as always (forgot the text but it's been mentioned)

Maybe just bad luck from leaving the machine all night but I'll be keeping an eye on that

So track markers don't follow playlists? Maybe I've misunderstood the point of them, I thought I'd be able to make quick notes on each as I recorded e.g. takes of vocals...

Getting heavy playback distortion ever since upgrading, that never appeared on 2023.3. Same device and settings.

Tried changing the playback settings. It will work fine for a short while, only for the distortion to return when further developments are made or another project is opened. Already tried uninstalling most/all third-party plugins.

Will troubleshoot further, may have to revert to 2023.3 if needed.

Edit: Resolved it by changing the Playback Engine to FLS ASIO (no luck with default ASIO4ALL v2).

I hadn't considered that until now. I think I'd prefer an on/off toggle for this option as I see uses for both.

Yeah, every playlist shows all the markers. That would get busy for playlist intensive workflows where many clips have markers. "Show only markers related to Main Playlist" by an on or off toggle as you say would be most helpful. (Track by track state I think would be best).

In 2023.6...Removing Markers by clicking and dragging up isn't working any more.

Does anyone have any idea what the new method is?
