Stupid bug in pro tools 10 [solved]
Hello all, this is my first post since everything I struggled with while trying to make PT10 stable had been already answered by someone else. This I cannot find a solution for.
The problem I'm experiencing is that I cannot completely close automation lines in audio tracks. I know I have to click on the arrow within the color area of the track to hide or show automation lines, but within my audio tracks (only in audio tracks) this arrow seems to have wondered off course and always shows a line below the actual track, even when it's on the "hidden" position. I's kind of hard to describe with words so I'll post a picture for you. It's a very silly but annoying problem and what seems odd is that I cannot find a single person (other than myself) who's had the problem. I like to think I'm kind of special but not this much hahaha Any thoughts of help are truly appreciated! |

Re: Stupid bug in pro tools 10
It looks like you're in volume view. If you change to Waveform, does that solve the issue?

Re: Stupid bug in pro tools 10
I noticed 2 things:
#1-your audio tracks are in Playlist view(which is why each has the skinny lane directly under the main). #2-the side arrow that opens the automation lane becomes a down arrow ON the added lane. Click on the down arrow to close the lane(this is a tad non-intuitive)

Re: Stupid bug in pro tools 10
OH MY GAD, I feel so dumb, the tracks were in play list view and that was the cause of the "bug". Thank you guys, you rock! there's always something new to learn under the sun!
