double-speed playback in PT10?
hi everyone,
i like processing my recordings and using them at double the speed & pitch. this i can do with a non-realtime plugin, but an option for quick auditing what my clips sound like at twice the speed would be great. is it possible to speed up playback to 2x the original speed, without processing the audiofile? i'm thinking it might be the shuttle lock option, if that's available to non-hd users now, but i'm on a macbook and don't think i have a numeric keypad? thank you very much in advance for any tips! |

Re: double-speed playback in PT10?
thanks for the link!
i've never seen something like this before but by quickly looking at the site i'm assuming installing it would allow me to use numeric keypad shortcuts on my macbook pro keyboard. so thanks for that! that said, is it be possible to speed up playback via a menu command somewhere at all? or is it strictly a numeric-keypad-shortcut or external controller feature in PT10? |

Not that I'm aware of.
But there are custom key strokes built into OS X, you might try that. System Prefs/Keyboard/Keyboard Shortcuts. |
