quick help dropping samples into kontakt

Hi,

I'm dropping samples into Kontakt and i simply want them to span across the keyboard chromatically in order sample 1 to 32. but its places each sample on 3 keys?? weird, so i get 96 zones etc. can't find any prefs for just placing one sample on each consecutive note. all other samplers i've used have done this by default.

In the Mapping Editor's Edit Menu, was "Chromatic" selected? Was AutoMap on or off?

Hi,

I've tried every setting i can find and it just won't put one sample on one note!!! it always wants to put each sample across 3-4 notes

Must be a simple way to drag and drop and have them in logical order 1-40 across the keyboard??

when you drag the samples in keep your cursor low down on the mapping window. Roughly, say, 4mm above the piano notes.

Yeh, thanks i discovered that ok, now my problem is it won't place the samples in the correct or logical order? i'm having to manually do one sample at a time to get them in the right order!!
