Pro Tools won't launch...
I have been using PT 7.3.1 for quite a while w/o an iLok. I recently purchased Pod Farm and iLok for it. I installed both. Now PT won't launch. I see it running in task manager, but it doesn't open up on the screen. Do I need to activate PT in iLok now that I am using iLok? As a side note, is there a log file or some sort of command line interface I can use to see why it isn't opening up?

Pro Tools LE does not require an ilok. Be sure your pace files are up to date. Be sure you have not installed IE8.

I have installed the updated iLok drivers. I have IE8 installed, but I don't use it. Should I remove IE8? Protools worked fine w/it installed before, it's just that I installed iLok and the Pod Farm plugin sw that it won't open up now. Reason and Live open up fine. Any other ideas?

Avid has told us that at least part of the IE8 issue is Pace related. So your experience is understandable. Uninstall IE8.
