Default Timed out message

I am getting a message saying "Pro Tools timed out trying to stop". Then I am unable to hear any audio. What is the cause of this?

Sounds like PT is having trouble communicating with your audio interface. Although, without any details of your system, it's nearly impossible to help you out.

Please take a look at the Help Us Help You post, which gives you some general setup and troubleshooting information along with what we need from you in order to try and help.

Thanks and welcome to the forums
