Best regards.
Only ADAT, well if you are not counting line-out.

It's not clear if he means Octopre or Octopre Mk II. But either way both units are ADAT and line level output, and maybe optional S/PDIF and ASE/EBU on the original Octopre. But either way neither units are capable of being HD/Digilink/TDM interfaces, and whatever Focusright preamp he has is irrelevant since it seem he has not got the basics of having the Core card and 192 interface talking to each other.

I have checked the 192 and the ring is green. I have done the digi test on both interfaces and they have passed. I have tried 2 different digilink cables and I'm still getting the same message can not fine interface check cables and power the click ok to rescan.

Both cards - your interface is the 192, and I could always take it off your hands for a good price

I have tried another computer I have tried seating the cards in different slots and i tried 3 different 192's. I wanna know do I need all 3 cards for this to work? do I need to loop the 192's with a bnc cable as well? could the mac I'm using be compatible? I just wanna get this system working.

You keep only giving us information fragments
I think it is time you find a local tech that can come in see what you have and knows how to test the parts

You've already been told you only need a core card. Why are you asking again?

You need to keep thing as simple as possible when debugging anything. Why would you want to connect multiple interfaces, try each one 192/cable individually to just the core card. If that does not work nothing else ever will.

I've already given you a list of things to check. Why have you not done all of them? Are the cards mechanically damaged? I gave you a thread about that. That is a not uncommon cause of exactly this problem. Based on the run of disjoint replies in this thread I would suspect *everything*, starting with whether you really have a core card (e.g. not an Accel card installed by mistake).

The suggestion to find somebody locally (and maybe pay them) to help you is a good one.

I apologize for not asking this earlier, but could my operating system be causing this? I'm running Mountain Lion.
