C:/AvidDownloads - taking space on C
Hi Avid,
My C drive is getting tight. Looks like there are 6.6 GB in a folder called AvidDownloads. Can any of this be relocated to my D: disk? Can any of it be deleted? For instance, I see directories for : 5 generations of Application_Manager_2.5.x_Win.extract 2 generations of CodecsLE_2.x.x_Win.extract 2 generations of Pro_Tools_12.x.x_Win.extract (12.6.0, and 12.7) Why aren't you cleaning up these files automatically?? |

Re: C:/AvidDownloads - taking space on C
You can delete those files or save them to D, once the AM has finished updating your software they are just installers

Back them up somewhere before you remove or move them!!! Avid doesn't leave old installers in your account.
