I/O Setup window initialises preamp settings

Hi there

1st post, I'm demoing PT 11.3 on Win 7 x64, i7 2600. PT newbie. I have set up PT to successfully control my preamps (RME Madi system). I have one query though, any time I have been in the I/O Setup dialogue and click ok, it resets all the preamp settings (in PT but not on the hardware) as the dialogue window closes. I.e. PT will now display the gains at 0, all other pre settings as per default, but the actual hardware is as before I opened the I/O setup. This doesn't happen if I cancel the dialogue.

Is this normal behaviour?

I tried using Retain Current Settings and Lock-Out on the Mic Preamps tab in Periphials - no change. I've searched extensively but found no mention of the issue.

The only work-around I've found is to first save a copy of the session, and then import session data / mic preamp settings.

Other than that, controlling the preamps from PT is working really well. So useful!

Any experience on this appreciated!
