Default Most Portable Set-Up

Hello,

I've been thinking that I want to get a portable solution for light recording on the road. I will still use my PC based 002 at home for most of the production but I'm trying to find out what would be the smallest mBox/laptop solution. When I say smallest, I mean the laptop physical size. I've been thinking of buying a Mac and think this is now the right time. Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks,
Steve

Well, for Macs, the smallest laptop would be the MacBook. There is also the Mac Mini which is very small but not a laptop. There are smaller PC laptops on the market though.

Does the mac require two separate drives like the PC? I couldn't find it on the install instructions.

Thanks

View it as "almost" a requirement.

System drive internal, audio drive external.

View it as a very strong suggestion, "almost" a requirement.

System drive internal, audio drive external.
