Avid Free DV - gone by Sept 1st!!!
I just discovered this free download, but they're gonna take it down on Sept 1st. It's a somewhat useful version of Avid video editing software. I used it yesterday to convert a DV-AVI file to Quicktime for importing into PT. Availiable for Mac or PC: Download it now while you still can!!!

Bump. Go get this now. You can decide later if you need it. Also, they've got some decent video tutorials for new Avid users. Use AvidFreeDV to create Quicktime Movies for import into Pro-Tools. This is the link!!!

is there anyway I could get this avid free dv, and can't find it on any of my HD's, do you think it would work on my G5 OSX 10.4.11 would like to play with it, can't afford new version right know.
Any help would be great.
