Compatibility (more mics!!)
Hey, I'm working with the Digi 003 and a macbook pro... I was wondering if it was at all possible for an addition of more mic inputs. I was wondering if something like the PreSonus Firepod would be able to piggyback on the 003 to supply more mic ins. 4 isn't enough.
Thanks!!! |

Re: Compatibility (more mics!!)
Are you asking about the eight additional ADAT inputs? A Digimax FS would do what you want as well as many other mic pres with ADAT outs. You can have 18 inputs at once.

Re: Compatibility (more mics!!)
Can an additional interface like the digimax be hooked up by ADAT to the 003 so the mic inputs on the digimax is able to track to pro tools le?
In other words, by connecting such an interface to the 003, would it allow for the mic inputs on the interface to be routed to protools? |

Re: Compatibility (more mics!!)
Have you read your Getting Started giude? That and the manual explain all of how to use the ADAT connections. As always, RTFM.
The answer is yes to all your questions.
