help with pop repair

i have a couple of nasty vocal pops on a track 'telePathic'
i know there are ways of redrawing them out
can some one explain how?

Sometimes in "volume Mode" I'll zoom in on the pop, and yank it down, other times, i'll loop the pop, insert an EQ, raise a band 5 or 10 DB, and sweep to find the main resonance of the pop. and pull it down 5db or more.

Then I'll draw automate the Bypass on the EQ, remaining bypassed EXCEPT for the pops on the track.

The velocity of the air popping the mic is greater than the sound wave of the "P". Therefore the popping sound is earlier than the "P"
You can cut the pop out and create a fast fade into the "P" . Drawing out with a pencil tool will leave a residual sound.

I use a Hi-pass at around 185 really steep and Audiosuite the P, then trim and cross-fade to taste. If it's really bad, Ill sometimes drop the volume as well. If you save a preset in your favorite EQ, it becomes an easy task.

I use Spigots approach. Works great. Filterbank does a nice job of it. The highpass filter at 12db/octave and sometimes a dip with the lo shelf as well.
