Waves 3 memoy: HELL\'p
I bouht the Waves 3.2 plugins, with Xnoise etc, and now every session with at least 2 plugsin(verbs particularly)is slowed down as ¤ hell¤.When I stop playback the cursor turns to hand tapping for 20 seconds or so...
What can I do in memory allocation(or else) to improve PT behavior? PTle 5.1.1/ OS 9.2 /512 RAM. Thanx |

Re: Waves 3 memoy: HELL\'p
2 reverbs is gonna eat up a lot of CPU unless you've got a pretty recent and speedy machine. Since you didn't post your system specs there's really not much we can do to help you, but if you're running something like a G4/500 you're probably not going to get much more than 2 reverbs on a session.

Re: Waves 3 memoy: HELL\'p
With 512mb of RAM in your system you can probably do 150000 to 180000 for both DAE and ProTools, but you'll have to expirement and see what works best for your particular setup.
