drive switches to playback or transfer
I've been having a strange problem since I updated to 10.6.6 and PT 9.0.1. About once or twice a day, when I open a session, the drive will have switched from R to P or T. I'll find out when autobackup tries to save and it says the drive is locked. I fix it by unmounting the drive and mounting again. I don't even have to shut down pro tools.
I'm running an Eleven Rack with my MBP 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo w/ 4GB of 1067 MHz DDR3 Ram. Mac OSX 10.6.6. |

Re: drive switches to playback or transfer
I haven't had this problem for a while, but now it started again. I've been working off of this drive problem free for the last month or so, and even all morning. I opened up a different session and now I can't save or work on this drive because it is locked. I didn't lock it, Pro Tools did. It's switched from R to P. I didn't do it, Pro Tools did. The bad part is, it won't let me unlock it. What is going on, Avid. Can you please iron out these bugs?
