Default PT LE: crash after pushing stop

From a while I encounter a crash problem with my PT LE, but it's hard to locate the reason why it happens, because it NOT ALWAYS HAPPENS!
Here is the scenario:
I launch a PT doc and begin to play the song hitting the spacebar; when I hit again the spacebar so that stopping the song....aargh: PT crashes, and this error message appears: "System error ProTools LE error 10".
So I have to reboot the system and when I relaunch PT this problem has gone: all is fine!
Any idea?

Thanks
Fulvio

The 7500 only has a single PCI bus, which all three slots share. Running a scsi accelerator and a 001 PCI card together on the same bus is bound to overload it.

You would actually be better off removing the scsi card and using your audio drives on the built in internal and external scsi connections. I don't know how fast the internal scsi bus is on a 7500, or if it is separate from the external scsi, but on the 8600 and 9600 models, the internal scsi is fast scsi (10 mbs) and the external scsi connection is separate and runs at 5 mbs.

OK, I see. Anyway many times the problem doesn't occur, and surely it doesn't occur if I launch PT as the first application after booting my Mac.

Thank you for your response
