Default Anyone know what mics these are?

In the following picture, can somebody please tell me what mics these are... or are they just mics inside certain mic shock mount holders that also function to block sound from the sides for live guitar cab miking on multiple cabs? They look like condensers, but how can they possibly be so for live use like this?

These are massive pictures so somebody should be able to recognize these. And does anyone know what mic stands these are. The one on the left is some sort of clip on, and the one on the right is neat too. I need these items.

you can zoom in on the pics

(Btw, these mode 4 cabs and the 1960B cabs are amazing and for some reason make high frequencies much less shrill than the angled versions of the same cabs. Does anyone know why? I thought cab construction only influences mid and low tones.

its definetly not the EV. looks more like an audio technica... but also a royer shock mount i found.. that way it would be hard to know what mics are inside them.

looks dead on to a re 20 to me and would make sense for the application. i can guarantee its not a royer, i own one for one thing and also it is a side adress mic not a front address mic. would also bet it would not be a condensor, would be a dynamic. re 20's have a fanbase on guitars, its not an sm7, a 57, i5, nor any of the newer heil mics which i believe are side address not front address also, not a 409/609. i dont know any audio techs that are built like this that would work on guitar cabs. gotta think a bit logical here. front or top address mic, straight mic, on slayer guitar cab in a live situation, the mic on the right is not even plugged in and they look to be the same mic.

i wasnt saying royer mic, but the royer shockmount for mics... but now that i look closer, you could be right, it could be the model you speak of but the angle is very decieving here. i originally doubted the model you suggest because when i searched that mic, the re 20 looks longer than these. and in these pics, where are the rest of the lateral grill rectangles of the mics?

the re 20 is a fairly large mic, but it can handle abuse with if not better than any other mic out there. i have used them a couple times in the past on guitars and worked quite well.

it probably looks smaller when put in conjunction with a dozen marshall stacks, then the pic is straight into the mics from a distance and probably zoomed. perception is gonna be a bit deceptive in this situation.

On the left is a Z Right Stuff Z-Bar and on the right is a short boom stand. Both mics appear to be the Heil PR 40.

i looked at that mic but could not tell if it was a front or side address mic, cause i knew they looked similar. but looking at the slight angle of one of the mics it just did not look like it to me. looks more ev to me. i would think a good web search would get him the truth. i have heard good things about the heils just never tried them.

Interesting... I assumed they were EV RE-20 after reading a comment Dave Ellefson made about using them on cabinets...
