C8 OFFLINE in LE7 on XP, but OK in LE6.4

After upgrading to PTLE 7.x on Windows XP Command8 is offline, and even the names of the ports in periferals dialog are not displayed!!! It shows: "predefined" and then 2 blank strings for receive and 4 blank strings for send ports and allows to choose one of them. I managed to make Pro Tools receive transport and fader commands, but it fails to send anything to C8 and C8 is always offline. I tried LE 7.0, 7.1, 7.3 and all workarounds with reinstallation, changing USB ports etc. Reinstalled back old LE 6.4 and all ports are visible and C8 goes online. Again installed 7.3 and it's again OFFLINE. But I paid enough for Command 8, LE 7,3, DV Toolkit2. I need them all simultaneously. Please DIGI help, I'm your long time user, but I'm astonished by this problem.
