Angry DAE -7450 *NOT* fixed with latest X-Form release

Just tried to do a 25 minute NTSC to PAL conversion with X-Form and it threw up a DAE Error -7450 right at the end. This is using the latest release (7.4.2).

Was hoping this was all solved now, is the error with this type of process still a known issue?

Extremely frustrating!

Running PTLE 7.4.2 on a Macbook Pro 2.4, 4GB RAM, Mbox 2 Pro / DV Toolkit 2

This was fixed in:
X-Form Plug-in Version 7.4.2cs1 for Mac OS X Leopard

and the previously released:
X-Form Plug-in Version 7.4cs4 for Mac OS X Tiger & Windows

This fix was not in the original release of X-Form v7.4.2.

A bit confusing, but this was because the Pro Tools for Leopard release (including plug-ins) was already in release qualification when the Pro Tools 7.4cs4 and higher 7.4 CS releases came out. Pro Tools 7.4.2cs1 includes these additional fixes, some of which were in PT 7.4cs4 and higher, but not yet in 7.4.2:

Hi Digi

Thanks for that - yes, t'was a bit confusing, I had assumed that 7.4.2 had indeed fixed that error so I brought X-Form back into the workflow for that reason.

Won't get a chance to play with it till later this week, but crossing my fingers that it's fine - my concern is that the specific issue identified as corrected is 'Film to PAL' conversions, whereas my most recent problems were with 'NTSC to PAL' conversions...

Cheers again!

I got this error last night NOT doing NTSC or Film conversions. . Just a tempo change from 127BPM to 124 on a file that was probably over 8 mins as suggested here. . .

So I DLed the new version of X-Form but the plug in version number in my folder has remained the same. 7.4

Ok I fixed it. . . sorry. .

*** But FYI: when running the installer for this new version of X-Form remove the old plug in first. . . I didn't do that at first and nothing was installed even though the installer script ran and didn't give me an error
