Losing Sync with USD, 6.1, OSX

Feeding the USD with LTC Pro Tools will randomly fall out of sync and stop playback. Works fine in os 9 pt 5.1, any ideas? Also noticing extended times to lock to incoming code.

Using G4 850, Plenty o' Ram, OSx.2.8

What is your Minimum Sync Delay set to in Peripherals>Syncronization? Try increasing it.

Also, if you're recording, make sure to limit Open Ended Record in Setups>Preferences>Operation. Specify a value of minutes rather than "use all available."

Actually sync is fine when using the deck as the transport master. If machine control is used in PT is when it falls apart. So, I guess this is a machine control issue.

Update again: Using the Gport for control, looks as though it's not supported, anyone using usb-> serial, will that work??

Yep, Keyspan USA-28x USB to serial is your best bet.
