Default Pro Tools Developer and MBox 2 Drivers installation issues

Hello !

If not on the right forum, please redirect,

I am developer, trying to resolve some bug under Pro Tools 8 with the RTAS plug-in I work on.
I have an MBox2 linked to a PC with Vista SP2 (32-bit).
I installed Pro Tools 8.0.4 Debug version (PT_DEV_804x228_WIN) as well as Avid Driver 8.0.4 Debug version (AvidAudioDrivers_LE_804.zip).

I tried to re-install after having faced some issues.
My box sounded very weird, now my box does not sound anymore after another re-installation.

Is there something wrong in my setup ?
Could you provide me with a detailed and step-by-step installation guide ?

Please could you help ?

Thanks ahead,
