Plugin Issues [solved]

I have 10 sessions and this is only randomly happening on a couple and with WAVES plugins it seems so far.

The session opens fine and plays fine with active WAVES plugins inserted. When I attempt to open any of the plugins the plugin pops up but shows as blank white .. then the session crashes. I delete the PT preferences and same thing. I can't seem to figure out where the WAVES preference is on Win. 8.1.

C/User/Usernames/Library does not exist. I don't have a library folder at that path.

I even tried importing new session, deleting PT preferences, removing all plugins to just have 1 plugin on the session (in case I had too much processing going). WAVES works fine on other sessions and on new test sessions I created. I just randomly have a couple that do this and I can't figure out why and how to fix this. Ugh

Any things you guys think I should try? Or know where I could find the WAVES preference to remove it?

The sessions worked fine a few days ago .. not sure what happened that this just now started happening.

Update - seems that Melodyne is causing this issue for me when I use it as a plugin. It happens on PT 12.2 and the 12.4 update. If I print melodyne track to a new track then disable the melodyne track and then re-import session data everything goes back to normal.

What a pain ..

I'll have to contact melodyne about this one I guess.

while I haven't updated to 12.4 yet, I CAN tell you that Melodyne worked fine as a plug in in 12.2 and still does in 12.3.1 for me

Melodyne works perfectly fine here on 12.4 HD in both OSX 10.8.5 and 10.11

Have stayed far far away from El Cap and will not update until we absolutely have to which may take a while

melodyne works fine for me. 12.4 on 10.10.5

melodyne worked fine for 12.2 and 12.4 .. after doing some more pulling out of my hair I now finally figured out everything is fine including WAVES. The issue was I was running 3 monitors while editing and when I unplug 1 of the monitors the issue doesn't happen. Appears that the WAVES plugins don't support or like the 3rd monitor.

I just got off the phone with WAVES and they even confirmed this.
